About Us

What is Hiker Welcome to Hike Quest Naija

Qmade Dynasty Entertainment Limited warmly welcomes you to the Hike Quest 9ja (HQN) Abuja Us. Hike Quest Naija is the brainchild of Qmade Dynasty Entertainment Company, QMDE (an incorporated Entertainment Limited Liability Company). She founded the engaging and useful platform known as "Hike Quest 9ja" (HQ9ja) as a corporate organisation with entertainment as its primary emphasis, vision, mission, business, and passion.

This endeavour was required because there was no organised body to plan an annual hiking event. Additionally, it was created in response to the need for such a Unified Umbrella to achieve the goal and desire of having a single platform that attracts different hiking groups and individual hikers who live in and around Abuja to hike together on an annual basis. In order to achieve this admirable goal, Hike Quest 9ja was created as a Common Front for hiking by all HIKERS. The platform enables Hikers to hike together to derive maximum benefits, achieve adequate fun and produce experiences that the atmosphere creates for Mountain climbers.

Hike Quest Naija is a yearly event. A hiking experience that is entertaining and grounded in Reality. The event offers a proper setting for expressing unfathomable joy through appropriate, captivating, advantageous, and helpful exercises, games, and activities for hiking in huge numbers. The goals of the aforementioned events, as well as those organised at each annual one, are to give hikers a motivating and enjoyable experience. When planning the hike, effort is always given to make sure that the main attractions are activities that increase the participants' and hikers' brain power and provide satisfying rewards. This platform will always ensure that the additional benefit of hiking in large groups and the enormous linked advantages are available to all hikers as a matter of policy.

In keeping with the purpose and reason for its' Corporate existence, QMADE DYNASTY ENTERTAINMENT COMPANY established HIKE QUEST NAIJA SPORTING EVENT for definite appreciation and fulfillments of the hiking needs of HIKERS and PARTICIPANTS. This enables the individual to learn more about the mountain, himself, and God. This mystery is something that will be experienced, treasured, and loved. The beauty and richness of mountain climbing and the immense treasure of knowledge, practical experience, and growth on so many different levels; spiritual, intellectual, social, economic, and physical environment, will help the mountain climber to accumulate sufficient exposure to remain inwardly and outwardly grateful to the Sovereign Authority that put the mountains in place.  So, QMDE is here to inform you that being in the mountains can make life a lot better and more refreshing. Through this HIKE QUEST NAIJA platform we want people to realize that climbing mountains can help everybody in positive ways.

For maximisation of visible and invisible enrichment of HIKERS and PARTICIPANTS, QMDE wishes to acquaint all that are involved with the essential BENEFITS OF HIKING to underscore the importance of each YEAR's HIKING EVENT. The advantage of staying physically strong, fit, happy, comfortable, satisfied, and healthy living is a core reason for Hike Quest Naija's passionate commitment.

Of important consideration is the choice of a secure, serene, suitable accessible location for the yearly hike. With many benefits in view, organizers will most perfectly choose a better, fitting, and friendly location that provides the physical benefit of seeing the wonders of nature, which, would truly keep hikers in awe and listen to the mountain speak to them in definite and different ways about the Creator's Surpassing Mysteries, His Creative Greatness, Transcending, Subduing, Overruling, Sovereign and Saving Power as well as the Riches of His Glory and Divine Attributes.

Equally important is the goal of ensuring that hikers can gain additional knowledge, meet new faces, make new friends, share new ideas, and maximize other open opportunities that are readily available.
In this regard, Qmade Dynasty Entertainment Limited welcomes everyone to be part of Hike Quest 9ja yearly noble course; either as an individual hiker or collectively as a hiking group in the Federal Capital Territory {FCT} Abuja, its environs and others from far and near. For maximum benefit, all comers or hikers are encouraged to be fully involved in the hike and the various games or activities lined up during the hiking. The occasion usually comes up in the summertime but depends on Local, State, National, Sub-Regional, Continental, or International Situations.

As for us, the mountains are home. It makes us spend time appreciating the beauty of nature and what it has to teach us. Being in the mountain at such a time makes life a lot better and refreshing. Through this platform, we want people to realize that climbing a mountain can help everybody that climbs it in many positive ways.

It is pertinent to admonish Hikers, Participants, Sponsors, Relevant Authorities, and Well-wishers to be sure that they fully participate in this Sporting Event; and to bear in mind that, because of their positive and meaningful involvement, upcoming generations will have a clear shot at a better life through hiking. Again, it should be well noted that the legacy you left for others will surely leave a lasting impression on their minds, for which, it will eventually become a song that the hiking COMMUNITY would sing. So, get involved; for you are right about establishing that legacy.

KEY POINTS AT A GLANCE

The Quest provides a truly challenging, fun-creating, and rewarding opportunity, which seeks to test a unique combination of skills in navigating physical, and mental tasks and teamwork.

Opportunities so provided will enhance Navigating cross-mountains, Incident-Based Competitions; wherein participants compete in challenging fans to collect points. The team {s} with the most points, wins!

For proper and efficient organisation, coordination, and management of various games slated for the hiking quest, Hikers will be grouped into Four Different Teams; to be labeled Blue, Pink, Red, and Yellow (BPRY). Each team is expected to select (20) members to participate in the game meant for its group. The selection will be based on the choice of members of the Team. The method of achieving this is required to create fun among members of each Team.

Be Prepared! The Quest will be a fun catching and rewarding event which encourages competitiveness as you desire. But be prepared for a genuine challenge. The expected total distance to be walked will be about 2km up to the peak of the mountain. Also, there will be a few minutes of walks around the mountain to enable Hikers to catch a view of the beautiful scenery of the mountain and its neighbouring setting.

The hike takes place in just about any kind of weather. After the 2km walk to the top of the mountain, the arduous search for something begins. So, be prepared! Be there! Be involved! Be 'the Hikers' Ambassador! Take an active part in the fun-creating events.

OVERWHELMING BENEFITS OF HIKING

This outdoor sport is not just making an adventure, it's also enjoying the following: Economic, Environmental, Health, Social, and Spiritual Benefits.

ECONOMIC BENEFIT OF MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

It will be an opportunity to carry out Business in the locality and immediate environment of the mountain region on different scales suitable to different Business interests; which could include PROMOTIONAL ACTIVITIES and the introduction of other formulas necessary and legitimate for income generation and extending the network base.

It will endear Hikers, Businesses, Participants, and Sponsors to the Environment and its RESIDENTS alike. This has the force of motivating most residents to switch over to patronising mainly the PRODUCTS and SERVICES provided by the above-identified category at every given opportunity.

Such as identified above stands to gain from the advantage of having UNEMPLOYED ITINERANT AGENTS, VOLUNTEER MARKETERS, WORTHY AMBASSADORS, and COMMUNITY WORKERS that will willingly spare-head its Business Interests.

It provides the opportunity to discover BENEFICIAL BUSINESS OUTLETS hitherto hidden from the view and contemplation of the above-identified groups. It will enhance their good name, image, affection, and attestation, which will eventually yield pleasant outcomes for such Organizations in the short or long run.

It is an opportunity to outshine other competitors operating the same line of Products, or Services or that are engaged in the same Business.

It's a reliable source of income for some Businesses Sponsoring and Participating. The outdoor economy is a vital part of mountain climbing, which can employ a sufficient workforce. The potential benefits of increasing opportunities for outdoor recreation and improving access to Businesses are many.

It gives our SPONSOR some useful research reports, facts, and figures regarding participation and the value of sport and recreation for their Business, just how crucial outdoor sector services are in improving the health, wealth, and happiness of the people.

Most times the cost of inactivity in an individual's life could be more than the cost of active engagement in sporting activity like hiking or mountain climbing. The prevalence of the large inactive population in this area has made it undesirable to consider the economic fortunes and opportunity to enhance the environment and generate income.

The economic benefit of hiking brings along with it, necessary interest, information, research, and evidence relating to the impact of outdoor recreation, which certainly provides a compelling case to relevant individuals as well as authorities of the true value of outdoor recreation like hiking.  To this end, Hike Quest Naija is making the effort to reveal and encourage the growth of getting involved in this outdoor recreation as one of our favorite pastime active events.

In addition, what Hike Quest Naija is doing to help get people active is through this present approach and by its wide range of skill tasking activities put in place to help people get active during the hike. The arrangement means that the people get skills and know-how for being part of the hike each year.  Hike Quest Naija's primary objectives are to support people, who want to climb to the peak of the mountain to do so on this platform. We also have a dedicated hill walking officer to guide and assist newcomers, to inspire and engage climbers, hill walkers, and mountaineers. There are several reasons why climbing mountains can enrich one's life economically.

Once Hikers get to the mountain region, there are other miscellaneous expenses as well, such as lodging, food, and any additional supplies that were not covered initially. In addition, some people may end up spending their night in the region of the mountain or needing the Services of our SPONSOR.  This turned them into places of overnight lodging, for those who want a more "authentic" experience of the environment.

Human activity is the source of the most visible actions. Hands will always be hired to handle several challenges involving hiking such as carriage of equipment, rentals, clearing, cleaning, and curbing waste as well as engaging Personnel for other necessities.

Hiking as in tourism is a vital economic lifeline and has an appreciable population of Hikers. Money is spent by the Organizers, Hikers, and Participants to make worth the while.

It provides income for those hired to provide a form of service or the other. Seasonal employment, associated supply, ancillary services, sales price and other expenditures associated with climbing and hill-walking trips are all economic benefits.

Climbing and hill walking are for both genders and the number of those participating is growing. Climbing walls have transformed climbing, allowing those with limited access to the outdoors to participate. Holidays and other free periods have seen as many people participating in climbing mountains compared to those visiting an amusement park, historic house, or museum.

ENVIRONMENTAL BENEFIT OF MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

It has the benefit of being close to nature.  The need to respect and preserve the natural environment is never more apparent than to those who visit, explore and enjoy the landscape in which they undertake their activities.

Increased public access to the countryside directly supports the Government's ambition set out in Natural Choice and Science. The natural environment reconnects people with the beauty of the natural environment. A healthy, properly functioning natural environment is the foundation of sustained economic growth, prospering communities, and personal well-being for which everyone should have fair access to good quality natural environment.

Climbing mountain helps Government's National Ecosystem to Assess the social benefits of people being able to access and enjoy the mountains with a view for proper planning. The harmful effects of disconnection with nature; sometimes called 'Nature Deficit Disorder' are increasingly recognized by the scientific community.

Public recreation and access to mountain peaks and green spaces are fundamental to people's understanding and enjoyment of the natural environment. Unless people can access the natural environment, they are unlikely to want to act to enhance or conserve it; that is, supporting recreational activities such as hill walking and mountain climbing are key to connecting the public with the natural environment.

The increase in mountain tourism is drawing attention to proper strategy and cleanness of the mountain region to make it safer and debris free by climbers and tourists. This also is helping to caution on the part of those who are not disposed to take care of the environment they visit. Relevant authorities would by this put an action plan in place to try and put a stop to disregard for nature and ensure that climbers and tourists comply with stipulated rules.

With the SPONSORSHIP OF the HIKE QUEST NAIJA YEARLY HIKING EVENT, the number of HIKERS and visitors to mountain regions around us will triple in subsequent years.

The more popular and increased participation that the hike gets, it will shape the direction of reactions, rules, and requirements such that every climber going further than the base camp is required to be guided accordingly.

The environment stands to gain some sort of support, employment, and income in some ways as Hikers, Participants, and onlookers as well as trekking guides, hotel workers and other Medium Scale Business around would record sales and patronages.

Climbers who attempt to summit the mountain but are unable would have to embark on sightseeing around the environment. Regardless, of the masses making their way to the mountain, they still leave their mark of expenses before climbing or when they descend.

Mountaineers and Environment Activists would soon become friends and partners to ensure maximum fun for Hikers and the best memories for the environment.

After seeing what untouched places look like one will want to protect them. Clear-cutting and human interference in any of these beautiful places will be the worst thing imaginable to the Hiker. One might finally understand why there are so many rules in national parks and would be so thankful for these rules. Beautiful places can become hotspots for people and the protection of them is the single best step to let everyone enjoy these places. After climbing mountains, one respects what we have a little more. It might teach one to recycle more, use less and reuse items to help in any way possible.

Climate change is a hot topic at the moment and will remain at the forefront of global news for years to come, so it's easy to see how views from the highest peaks can inspire a sense of responsibility to ensure a positive future for our planet. Spectacular summit views will show you why we need to protect our environment

Whether it's a rapidly changing climate or demanding terrain the mountain environment is often unpredictable, and climbers must be able to adapt to changing conditions. This ability to adapt at short notice is a valuable life skill that can help you as you navigate new events and relationships.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

It is a good exercise for the heart. One of the perfect health benefits that Hikers will enjoy is the fact that it is a kind of sport that helps the heart to stay strong and fit. Walking is a simple cardio exercise. So, climbing a mountain does good effects on the heart as well. It helps the heart circulate the oxygen found in the body thereby giving a good flow of blood in the entire system.

It is best for the muscles. Climbing uses lots of muscle groups, both in the upper and lower body. The back, abdominal and leg muscles all get exercised as well as the fingers, shoulders, and arms.  Regular climbing can improve stamina and endurance as well as muscle strength. In addition, all the reaching and stretching for holds improve flexibility and agility. Getting out and about in the outdoors, walking to reach the crag one wishes to climb on, is also good aerobic exercise. Thus, it helps to maintain firm muscle all over the body.

It gives the lungs some fresh air. Being away from the city is also best for some time to relax the lungs and the entire body from inhaling all the toxins and pollutants in the city. Mountaineering helps make the feet, heart, and lungs stronger and healthier. It is easy to find that people get old because their feet become old first. If the feet are strong and walk a long distance, one won't easily get old. Climbing mountains can make the feet strong. When climbing mountains, one usually shakes the muscles on your arms, waist, back, and neck, and this can create a faster metabolism and make the heart and lungs stronger. In addition, this activity can make one thinner if one is fat.

It builds incredible strength and endurance as well as improves dieting. The work involved in hiking and climbing demands a proper diet. The altitude trains the lungs to become stronger and the struggle becomes less and less every hike. Walking is one of the easiest and cheapest ways of exercising and an effective way of managing weight. Regular brisk walking will improve the performance of the heart, lungs, and circulation, as well as lower blood pressure. This reduces the risk of chronic illnesses, such as heart disease, diabetes, asthma, stroke, and some cancers.

Mountains are so special and they have such magic to them. Even if you don't even climb them they call to you.  A hiker might find that all the problems in s/he life dissolve when around the mountain. The fact is that after spending time climbing the mountain once, there is the urge to come back. This is the reason to finally understand why the mountains are calling and the Hiker must go.

Climbing a mountain is the furthest thing from easy to some. Long stretches of constant vertical climbing can be the most exhausting and hardest thing to do. Not only the physical difficulties but also the mental difficulties will also test the Hiker.  Exposed and tricky climbing and route finding can get the best of the Hiker's mental abilities. Hikers will learn to never give up; to know that the reward will be worth the work it takes.  It may take several attempts and hours but Hikers will take the time and achieve the climb. Once it's made, s/he will realize what all the fuss is about. It is like reaching a goal, achieving a dream, and figuring out that one can do anything that one sets his/her mind to. It's an addictive feeling that no one can properly explain and one that has to be experienced. In that sense, climbing mountains will teach patience, persistence, and gratitude.

A grueling six hours of vertical in the heat and a stop for a water break. It will probably be the best water to have ever tasted in life. People overlook the small things in life that they take for granted, things like water.  When one reaches the peak but forgot to bring essentials along, s/he will realize how important the little things are when they are not there. We learn to become more prepared and to respect comfortable things.

People will always find out that every mountain that they have climbed has taught them at least one important lesson or the other. Rainy-season climbing or hiking will teach a lesson different from dry-season hiking. Either way, there is at least something to be learned. Whether they teach them to bring a pack in case they have to sleep overnight or teach them that proper shoes are essential, people always learn something every time. Mountain climbing can be the greatest and most difficult thing ever in life but in the end, one usually ends up wanting more of it no matter what.

There is a whole heap of correlation between being outside in the natural world, taking regular exercise in such an environment, and improving mental health. Along with better sleep, happier moods, and the ability to better manage stress and anxiety, mountain climbing is one way to boost feelings of happiness.

When Hiker throws on a pair of climbing trousers and packs supplies in his or her kit bag, it is an opportunity to leave behind any thought or feeling that has been weighing on his/her mind. When out on the mountain it's just the Hiker and Mother Nature.

Mental health and well-being, climbing offers a wealth of health benefits that are not just physical.  It improves your self-esteem, mental agility, and self-awareness. It's a great stress-buster and a full-body workout, so it's good for general well-being.  Climbing requires a lot of problem-solving, mental concentration, and focus, so it helps sharpen the brain. It helps us cope at work by helping de-stress amongst nature, it 'heals' our brains, helps us concentrate, makes us more creative, and can help treat depression.  A lot of people like it as it allows for escaping everyday worries and just focusing on the climb.  It also can give a great sense of achievement.

Mountaineering can forge a strong will. It is indeed a tiring job walking up and down the mountain peaks. However, when you conquer mountain peak after mountain peak, you will feel extremely excited, happy, and satisfied. Mountaineering can make you meet difficulties and you will solve these difficulties with your strength and more importantly, your willpower, especially when you want to give up after a long time of climbing and feel very tired. People's willpower is tested in such difficult times.

Mountaineering can stimulate your wisdom. For those who always work in an office, mountaineering is absolutely one of the most efficient ways to have a positive rest, which means it is indeed tiring, but it makes your entire body exercised including your brain. When your brain gets relaxed and rests, it will recover to its normal way of working for you. Moreover, walking in the mountains can give you so much imagination and this can flex your brain and make it even more efficient when you work next time.

SOCIAL BENEFITS OF MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

At Mountain Hikes, we love that our walking weekends bring together walking enthusiasts from all over the place. It's an incredibly social event, and we thoroughly enjoy interacting and chatting with our guests about their climbing experiences.

Climbing can be a very sociable activity. This sporting event draws most people to participate for social and other socially-related reasons.  The individual develops strong friendships with other climbing partners due to the level of trust involved and through sharing challenges and experiences.

We actively encourage all our Hikers and participants to get to know each other before we begin our climb where and whenever possible. This is done because they will be spending a substantial amount of time with one another hiking up challenging peaks.

Booking onto one of our yearly hikes not only brings participants great views, plenty of fresh air, and exercise, but super social benefits too.

You Can Meet Like-Minded People.  On our hike, you are guaranteed to be surrounded by people who are as passionate about climbing and getting out into nature as much as you are. Friendship has got to be one of the best, yet unexpected advantages of becoming part of the rock-climbing community.

In everyday life, you may find it hard to find people who want to talk about the thrill of hiking up a mountain, especially if you live in an urban area.

This is the perfect opportunity to strike up conversations with people who will understand what you are talking about, and even find out more information for future hikes. It's invaluable, as well as fun!

It Creates a Sense of Community.  Mountain climbing is no different from any other activity with a community of people who are passionate about it. Hiking up a mountain surrounded by people who appreciate taking part in the activity is part of what makes us so passionate about what we do.

Being part of such an enthusiastic community gives you support and encouragement as well as an important sense of belonging. We do not want anyone to feel excluded from the group, we are all hiking up a mountain for the same reasons; enjoyment and fulfillment.

Make New Friends.  We are eager to get to know every single one of our hikers; what you like, your reason for taking up hiking, and how mountain hiking affects your life. As like-minded people, we will all love hearing stories about our favorite hikes, even the ones that you found the most challenging.

Many friendships have blossomed during hiking events. As the chances of you already knowing people who are on the hike are probably quite low, it's the perfect opportunity to get to know what people get up to on the other end of the country. You may be more similar to the others on our walks than you initially think.

Friendship and companionship are things that we actively encourage during hiking. We want to give people the chance to get out and enjoy their favorite activity with people who also enjoy taking part – it's always more fun with friends.

Mountain climbing is an outdoor recreational sport that is one of the fastest-growing mainstream sporting activities. It is safe and enjoyable for anyone of any age to climb at their own comfort and ability level.

Although the practice of Mountain Climbing is essentially you vs yourself, it can still be regarded as a team sport, because you are never alone and should not be alone. You will either be climbing with a group of friends, schoolmates, colleagues, or family members. Learning to put your trust in the person holding your rope fosters relationships pretty quickly. Bouldering is shorter climbing without a rope but still requires a spotter to guide the climber to the landing mat safely.

The different roles one plays when climbing builds character and leadership skills. Every climber will get the chance to be a student and learn from others, then the teacher sharing that knowledge. One minute they will be the climber being supported by others' encouragement or advice. They will turn around and be the belayer or part of the encouraging group. The climbing community is one where every achievement is celebrated together.

Communication between the climber and the belayer is paramount to climbing safely. The safety system consists of a series of commands or statements and recognition statements, used to inform each other of one's status about the rope and climb. (Example: Climber to Belayer: "Slack" for more rope when climbing up, "Take" to pull the rope tight and hold.) Speaking clearly and listening attentively come naturally when your life depends on it.

Hikers and Climbers are an awesome breed of people. You will find there are a few similarities between them: They are all positive, strong, confident, and happy. Meeting people through mountainous associations, hiking groups, and social platforms will be some of the main ways to find hiking partners.  The great thing about hiking people is that we all have similar goals, to get to the top of the mountain and to enjoy a day of exercise and nature's beauty. Lifelong friends can be made this way because you generally spend a lot of time with each other. You also get to take in the most beautiful places with these people, which can bring people together in special ways.

All serious climbers know that when they are out on a mountain they have a responsibility to themselves and the people they are with to maintain a certain code of conduct and ethics. That said, mountain climbing activity bonds groups of people who tackle challenging peaks whether they fail or succeed.

Mountaineering helps you build interpersonal relationships. Mountaineering is not a one-person activity but an activity that always involves groups of people. It is unlikely that you climb the mountain yourself all the time, instead, you climb the mountain with your spouse, friends, relatives, or even strangers. During this process, you communicate with them and probably you will establish relationships with some of them. This makes your circle of friends larger and you will become even more connected with the outer world. This is indeed cool.

SPIRITUAL BENEFITS OF MOUNTAIN CLIMBING

There are many known physical benefits of hiking, such as improved muscular fitness, lower risk of heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol, and improved cardio-respiratory fitness. Hiking also helps you mentally and even spiritually.  If you need a spiritual breakthrough, here's why hiking will help.

Hiking is undoubtedly one of the best ways to celebrate nature. Climbing mountains, over hills, strolling along plains, and getting lost in the forest provides great opportunities to get in touch with nature. It provides us with a reminder of how small we are, and how beautiful and vast the world is. The sight of the Beauty of Nature makes the Hiker appreciate God for the gift of nature to mankind.

Unlike a busy city, hiking makes you want to engage all of your senses. Once you have been hiking for a time, that irritating internal monologue fades away and you begin to take more notice of your surroundings. The Hiker begins to ask; how does the breeze feel against your skin? What can you hear? When did the leaves start to change color? It makes you feel connected to yourself and the earth. Taking all of the beautiful sights in can help you feel God's presence. Many hikers have said they have felt God in the air as they continue their hiking practice. It lets you forget about what is going on in your life and instead lets you focus on your connection to God.

Physical distance from everyday life also provides the Hiker with a mental and emotional break. This distance is needed to momentarily place aside the pressures of constantly trying to balance work, relationships, friendships, finances, and health. The silence of nature enables the Hiker to take a moment to breathe, thereby enjoying quiet time and space from everyday life.

Climbing the peak of the mountain can make the Climber come to some important self-realizations whilst wondering. If the Hiker has a difficult problem that is being faced in life, a hike can help the Hiker relax and connect with the mind in a safe space. Alternatively, the Hiker can let his/her thoughts dance from the mundane to the ludicrous. Daydreaming is a fun way to let the brain relax and enjoy the moment.

The average person is stressed each day, which can lead to some terrible health problems and overall dissatisfaction with life. However, being among nature is a great stress reliever and can help lower incidences of depression.  When the Hiker is less stressed and happier, s/he can make a larger impact on the world. There will be more energy to use the spiritual gifts that God has given. By being a more relaxed person, one will be able to connect with the people around on a deeper level. Hiking also helps hikers relax from the sadness they may feel from seeing others suffering, relieves stress, and makes them happier.  A happier Hiker will lead to a closer connection with yourself, your relationships, and God.

Hiking can help build a stronger relationship with God. During a hike, one can practice mindful walking or climbing, also known as walking meditation, which is a technique that incorporates the concept of mindfulness. Mindfulness is being in the present moment. Paying attention to your breath and focus on bodily sensations. The Hiker becomes aware of his/her soul's intention to connect with something larger than itself by sensing the majesty and wonder of nature.

Before going on a hike, Hikers can also dedicate a devotional to reflect upon during their exploration. This can lead to the following questions "Did you feel God lifting you? Did you converse with Him on the ideas you had?" After the hike, you can jot down the ideas you meditated on while walking and it is handy for a need to pick me up spiritually afterward.

Hiking with an important someone allows you to check in with them on a deeper level and be a more supportive friend, partner, or family member.  This special one-on-one time allows you to be of service to those who are important to you. Putting away your phones, and stepping away from the hustle and bustle of family and city life will force you to talk… leading to some great bonding time. During such times experienced hikers, help teach others mindfulness and how to connect spiritually to themselves and nature. This fosters positive relationships.

Hiking is a great tool to help you increase your spirituality. Connect with God and appreciate the beautiful world He has given you. Nature will let you relax, destress, and feel like you are part of something bigger than yourself.

Hiking is a lesson in spiritual elevation, of an energy that is more moral than physical. It is a sport that contributes to a more complete maturity of the character. The practice of mountain climbing is a potential sustainer and nourisher of the spirit of the climber. Its lessons are worthwhile as it imparts on the human spirit.

Mountain climbing develops character. It requires rigorous virtues in those who practice it: strict discipline and self-control, prudence, a spirit of sacrifice and dedication, care and solidarity for others. The beauties of the mountains, in the face of the spectacular grandeur of the peaks, the fields of snow, and the immense landscapes, a man enters into himself and discovers that the beauty of the universe shines not only in the framework of the exterior heavens but also that of the soul that allows itself to be enlightened and seeks to give meaning to life.  The spirit is lifting to God on the breath of prayer and gratitude towards the Creator.

If you have negative thoughts about climbing a mountain it is probably your one-way ticket to failure. Telling yourself you cannot or that it is impossible doesn't help in any way. If you are positive, even if the climb is impossible at the moment, you will continue to try.  With that, you will eventually convince yourself to have the determination to achieve the climb. If you don't believe you can climb the mountain then you probably never will. You can do more than you think you can and you just have to trust yourself, believe in yourself, and take it one bit at a time, before you know it you will be standing on the peak.

The mountains are calling, and I must go. An adventure in the mountains can offer more than just an escape from the humdrum of modern life. Exploring physical exercise with elevated views of some landscapes and scaling a challenging peak can have multiple benefits for those who reach the top.
